If you were worried about how you’ll get fresh produce during the winter months, City Produce will open its doors at the Downtown Market on Monday.
City Produce will offer a supply of fresh produce throughout the year at the indoor Market Hall.
Co-owners Alison Maat and Chris VandeGuchte grew up in the West Michigan produce business and this is their first foray into retail.
“Both of our families are involved in the wholesale produce business, and we are eager to take that experience to create a fun and unique shopping experience at the Downtown Market,” Maat said. “We have access to a diverse group of local and Michigan regional growers, from whom we will source organic and seasonal vegetables.”
