Fresh Express and Chiquita Brands International Inc. has decided to further invest in Dallas-Fort Worth, by buying its refrigerated facility in Grand Prairie for $19.5 million.
The 113,000-square-foot industrial warehouse at 2370 West Warrior Trail in Grand Prairie is 100-percent occupied by Fresh Express and Chiquita Brands, which distributes bananas, salads and snack fruits from the facility.
The buyer acquired the property from Chicago-based Rose FP LLC. Marc Bonilla of Colliers International's Phoenix office represented the buyer and seller in the deal.
"This institutional grade industrial asset combined outstanding functionality with an incredible opportunity for the tenant to expand the building footprint in one of the strongest sub-markets in the country, Dallas-Fort Worth," said Bonilla, a Colliers International executive, in a statement.
