Chilean Exports Aid Schools Damaged By Earthquakes

The Board of the Chilean Exporters Association (ASOEX) has announced a program to
help rebuild schools damaged in the recent devastating earthquake that struck the
principal growing regions in Chile.

Two agricultural schools, that sustained the greatest damage have been selected for
the initial repair effort:

“Escuela Agrícola Cristo Obrero” located in Graneros, south of Santiago.
“Escuela Agrícola San Vicente de Paul”, located in the Coltauco area.

The Association invites interested fresh fruit industry colleagues, who share our
interest in helping to rebuild these schools, to please send donations to a bank account
specifically set-up for that purpose.
