Brooks Tropicals Announces Top-Level Promotions Within Their Firm

Brooks Tropicals promoted Bill Brindle to Chief Operations Officer.  He will be managing the packinghouse, grove operations and other executive management responsibilities.  “Bill has been a key part of our success in building the market for tropicals, and I look forward to working with him in this important position,” said Greg Smith, Chief Executive Officer.  Bill graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has worked at Brooks Tropicals for 23 years.

Brooks Tropicals also announces the promotion of Peter Leifermann to Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. He will be managing the sales, marketing, transportation and procurement responsibilities. “Peter’s work both with customers and growers has been essential in our past, and I believe his work will be even more critical in our future growth,” said Greg Smith, Chief Executive Officer. Peter graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and has worked at Brooks Tropicals for 6 years.
