Braga Fresh Honors 18 Years Of Service, Supervisor Millan Retires After Nearly Two Decades

Soledad, CA – After 18 years of supervising lettuce, romaine and other vegetables harvests, Clemente Millan is looking forward to spending more time around his own dining table.
Millan retired from Braga Fresh Family Farms on May 2, just over a month after his 18th anniversary with the company. He started on April 4, 1996.
“I am proud to have been trusted with my job all these years and am honored to be a part of such a great group of people,” Millan said.
It will be hard to see such a great employee go, said Rod Braga, President and CEO of Braga Fresh Family Farms.
“Over three generations, the company has changed, expanding our farming operations and now launching our own brand—Josie’s Organics. One thing has stayed the same, the focus on family and our employees,” Braga said.
“After 18 years of hard work ensuring quality vegetables get to market, workers like Clemente are a big part of our success and our extended family. We’ll miss in him the office and in the fields.”
Millan intends on enjoying his retirement in Greenfield with his wife of 39 years Eloisa. The couple plans to travel, visiting Mexico and their four kids in Yuma, AZ. They are also looking forward to spending time with their 10 grandchildren.
“My career with Braga has been one of the best things to ever happen to me,” Millan said. “I am going to miss my job and all the friends I have made with the company, but this is the right time for me to retire and I am looking forward to slowing down, relaxing and spending quality time with my family.”
