Birko To Host Food Safety Reception At United Fresh 2014

HENDERSON, Colo. – Birko, a leader in providing food safety solutions to the produce industry, is hosting a Food Safety Reception at United Fresh 2014 in Chicago.
 
The Food Safety Reception will be Wed., June 11, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Room S404d in the south building, level four, at McCormick Place. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
 
“Birko’s produce food safety experts will be on hand, but the best part is that you can have your picture taken with some very nasty characters!” said Kelly Green, Birko’s third-generation owner and chairman of the board. The three costumed “nasty characters” represent the common pathogens of Salmonella, Listeria and E. coli.
