Baloian Farms, a year-round supplier of premium quality peppers and mixed vegetables, recently promoted young talent within their Sales Department at their headquarters in Fresno, California. The newest position changes in the Baloian Farms team are Reiley Johnstone, formerly Logistics/Consolidation Coordinator has been moved to Sales complementing our existing Sales Team while taking over the Logistics/Consolidation Coordinator position is Janet Torres. Janet was previously part of the Baloian Farms Accounting Department.
Reiley started with Baloian Farms in April 2017 after graduating with an Agriculture Business degree from Fresno State. When he’s not sitting at the sales desk, he has been known to take on a bull or two in the local bull riding arena or can be found out on his dirt bike. Both activities may have gotten the better of him this past winter and these days he has taken a much slower pace as he heals from a double injury to his left leg. We are excited to watch Reiley take on the challenges of the Sales arena with the same enthusiasm he has shown for his outside activities.
Janet became a part of the Baloian Farms Family in June 2013. Janet started in our packing facility for the first couple of years before moving to the receptionist position in the front office. From there she became a part of the Accounting department and excelled working with both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. We have enjoyed watching her grow in each new position she’s taken on and we are looking forward to seeing all she has to contribute to our Sales department. When she’s not in the office Janet enjoys concert going with friends. To date she says without a doubt that seeing Derks Bentley in concert has been her favorite.
As we gear up for our California Spring Green Bell Pepper season in Thermal CA. we are enthusiastic to see what fresh ideas and youthful energy Reiley and Janet will contribute to the team.
