GLENVIEW, Ill., July 21, 2010 — Apple Rush Co., Inc. (Pink Sheets:APRU) is pleased to announce that the Company has received $100,000 through a joint venture agreement with Stealth Funding, LLC for the purchase of new inventory with no dilution to its existing shareholders. Through this joint venture agreement, Apple Rush has acquired a fifty percent equity position of Apple Rush II, LLC. Stealth Funding has invested $100,000 in return for its fifty percent equity position in the joint venture company. The Company's August production run will tout its newest flavor — Blueberry — as it prepares for the national distribution of its newly designed organic product line. The new packaging is unique and is reminiscent of when some soft drinks came in real wooden crates. End aisle displays have been designed for large retail grocery stores throughout the United States https://www.issuerdirect.com/corporate/mediaroom/69034.
The demand for organic products in international markets has increased significantly, and, experts say will continue to rise. According to a 2010 industry survey by the Organic Trade Association, U.S. organic food sales grew from $1 billion in 1990 to $24.8 billion in 2009. Apple Rush will continue to target schools, supermarkets and organic stores nationwide with its August 1st production run. Many supermarkets have already accepted the Company's products for placement in their store's produce sections.
"Undersupply has been an issue of the organic beverage industry for a number of years due to demand exceeding supply," stated Robert Corr, President of Apple Rush Co., Inc. "With this funding and additional funding in the plan, we will be able to provide the market with a steady stream of product and take full advantage of this large demand.
In time, we expect the Apple Rush(TM) line to be fully distributed throughout the country and available in most of the national retail grocery chains."
Apple Rush recently announced that the Company's organic juice product line offers children a healthy drink alternative. Consumption of 100 percent fruit juice is closely linked to improved nutrient intake and overall diet quality in children and teens, according to new research presented at the Experimental Biology (EB) 2010 meeting.
