La Cañada Flintridge Calif.: The Allen Lund Company, Atlanta Flatbed office donated the cost of the transportation for a truck load of school supplies for Mission Haiti. "This will be the 14th truck that ALC has donated since 2010," stated Chris Clelland, Manager of the ALC Flatbed office. "Including this years donation, ALC has donated approximately $60,000 to Mission Haiti." The office coordinated the donation with Karl Holtsnider, Mission Haiti Coordinator at Holy Family Church in Pasadena, CA. The truck departed from Pasadena, CA on Thursday, July 21st and arrived in Miami on Monday the 25th. There the sea container will be transported to Haiti, and the school supplies will be dispensed to the local schools. Allen Lund, President and CEO added, "We truly enjoy supporting Mission Haiti because we know Karl and the good people involved. We know that the supplies will go to the people who need it most."
