La Cañada Flintridge Calif. – Allen Lund Company announces two key promotions in the Rochester and Charlotte offices, Todd Piccola and Greg Babiarz.
Todd has been promoted to manager of the Rochester office following his accomplishments as a transportation broker. Todd began his career at ALC Rochester in June 2010. Over the years he has spent time in the Los Angeles and Boston offices learning about the brokerage business and gaining experience in both dry and refrigerated goods. Throughout his career, Todd has been a quiet leader, dependable co-worker, and valuable ALC team member in each office.
David Lund, VP Sales & Operations had this to say, “I am very excited about Todd becoming our new manager in Rochester. Having a current employee fulfill the role along with Todd being able to move back to family and friends makes it a win for everyone. Todd has had experienced mentors to learn from in Tracy Lewin, ALC Los Angeles manager and Lenny Sciarappa, ALC Boston manager. Many in the Rochester office worked with Todd when he first started with ALC and are excited about his return. I wish nothing but success for Todd and his wife, Lindsey as they continue to grow their family in Rochester.”

Additionally, Greg Babiarz has been promoted to assistant manager of the Charlotte office following his leadership and contributions as operations manager. Greg has been with ALC for 12 years and has over 14 years of industry experience.
Nate Thomas, Manager of the Charlotte office had this to say, “Since joining the company 12 years ago, Greg has played a vital role in the success of the Charlotte office. As operations manager, his hard work, leadership skills, and drive have been an integral part of our growth. I am excited about Greg’s promotion and look forward to working with him for many years to come.”
Greg commented, “I moved to Charlotte for warmer weather and was introduced to Jim McGuire through a mutual colleague. Joining the Charlotte team was the best decision for me. I thank Nate Thomas wholeheartedly for believing in me in taking this next step in my career. I look forward to the opportunity to help him lead the best group in the business to the next level.”
