AMI’s International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition, April 13-16, 2011, at Chicago’s McCormick Place, added 25 companies to its exhibitor list during the first half of February. All totaled, more than 330 companies have signed up to exhibit at the AMI Spring Expo and the interest in exhibiting continues to grow.
Registration also saw a strong uptick as attendees responded to voice mails from industry leaders like Larry Odom, president of Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage and vice chairman of AMI. Odom promised plenty of “southern hospitality” at the show and said, “I’ve told my team that this IS the show they will be attending this year because I believe in AMI and I accept no substitutes.”
AMI Vice President of Convention Services Anne Halal forecasts a strong exposition due to great support from the processing community. “You never know which industry leader might turn up in your voice mail these days expressing support for AMI’s Spring Expo. We’re gratified that so many people have rallied to support this important event,” she said.
