About Schweid & Sons
In the late 1800s, Harry Schweid began selling high quality meats to butchers and restaurants in New York City's Lower East Side, a tradition his son Sam carried on into the 1930s with his Harlem-based butcher shop. In 1978, Sam's son David Schweid decided to hone in his family's rich butchery heritage and founded a company that focused solely on high quality ground beef – Schweid & Sons. Today, that passion is carried on at Schweid & Sons – a family-owned, fourth generation beef purveyor with a dedication to bringing "The Very Best Burger" to consumers by offering a range of ground beef, including Certified Angus Beef®, custom blends, USDA Prime®, All Natural, Wagyu and more. Located in Carlstadt, NJ, Schweid & Sons supplies their ground beef to supermarkets, restaurants and special events nationwide. For more information, visit www.schweidandsons.com.
