Langley, B. C. based Donald's Fine Foods has added the Moose Jaw Pork Packers pork processing facility at Moose Jaw in its domain. This processing plant was idle since September 2006.
Sask Pork Chairman Jay McGrath informed that reopening of the five thousand head per week capacity plant doesn't mean that company has to take care of the all of Saskatchewan's slaughtering needs.
Clip-Jay McGrath of Saskatchewan Pork Development Board said that plant's capacity was 18 thousand to 20 thousand head a week before it completely went out of production.
Chairman of the B. C, Langley hog farmer Jack Dewit, partner in breeding operation that produced 70,000 hogs a year, is also Donald's supplier.
