Monogram Food Solutions LLC has acquired one of the nation’s largest corn dog manufacturers.
The Memphis-based manufacturer of processed meats purchased Hinsdale Farms of Bristol, Ind. Hinsdale focuses on retail private label customers and co-packing for other manufacturers.
Terms of the transaction between the two private companies were not disclosed. Monogram did reveal that it raised $12.5 million in new equity, mostly from high net-worth individuals living in the Memphis area, to finance the acquisition.
The 110,000-square-foot Hinsdale plant will be Monogram’s fourth processed-meat manufacturing facility. It employs 300 people, all of whom will be offered positions with Monogram.
