The South Dakota and Minnesota Beef Councils are partnering on beef promotions targeting consumers in the Twin Cities metro area. Minnesota Beef Council Director of Industry Relations Royalee Rhoads says they have many large food events they are using to target consumers and drive beef demand.

She says the consumer response has been very positive at all the shows they’ve participated in.

Rhoads says South Dakota beef checkoff dollars are also being used to support beef education for retailers and dietitians in the Cities.
