The award is attributed to Lone Mountain Wagyu’s collection of steaks and retail products including the nations first 100% Fullblood Wagyu Beef Sausage Links and Beef Jerky.

This is the second big win for the company’s retail product line, which were awarded silver finalist and gold wins at the Specialty Food Association’s 2015 Sofi Awards.

This Gold Medal is the top award of the American Masters of Taste, the longest standing third party endorsement program in the country operated by Chefs in America. Contestants are evaluated through a “triple blind” judging to ensure accurate and fair results. In response to Lone Mountain Wagyu’s products, the panel stated “Lone Mountain Wagyu has produced a line of American raised 100% Fullblood Wagyu that is exemplary for its overall appearance, texture, and performance.
