FORT ATKINSON, WI — Jones Dairy Farm is looking for the next great breakfast recipe. In honor of National Breakfast Month in September, the company has launched the Rise, Sizzle & Shine Breakfast Recipe Contest.
Entrants must submit a breakfast recipe using Jones Dairy Farm products, such as breakfast sausage, bacon, Canadian bacon or ham.
The creator of the winning recipe will receive $2,000. Second and third place winners will receive one-year supplies of Jones Dairy Farm Products. Fourth and fifth place winners will receive a Jones Dairy Farm gift basket.
"Our customers are passionate about home cooking and quality ingredients," said Philip Jones, sixth generation family president at Jones Dairy Farm. "We are excited to see the creative new recipes they come up with for the contest."
Contest entries may be submitted at www.JonesDairyFarm.com/risesizzleshine. The deadline to enter is Oct. 31, 2013.
Consumers will have an opportunity to help pick the winning recipe through online voting. The five semi-finalist recipes will be posted at www.JonesDairyFarm.com/risesizzleshine on Nov. 15 for consumer voting. The deadline to vote is Nov. 30, 2013. Winners will be announced in early December.
