Memphis, Tenn. – International Paper (NYSE:IP) today announced the next generation of its ClimaShield™ poultry product, which provides strong moisture barriers and is fully recyclable. With the increasing focus on greater recyclability and reduced packaging going to landfill, the ClimaSeries® product line matches customers’ environmental needs with International Paper’s proprietary technology. ClimaShield is the latest addition and improvement to the ClimaSeries family of products developed specifically for the poultry industry.
ClimaShield technology allows the poultry industry to take advantage of an environmentally friendly moisture barrier that can be customized to specific environments across various supply chains. Corrugated containers treated with ClimaShield are 100% recyclable and can be sold into the Old Corrugated Container (OCC) recovery stream.
