Daily's Premium Meats To Build 100,000-Sq Ft Facility In St. Joseph, MO

Daily’s Premium Meats, a meat-processing company specializing in “sliced-to-order” naturally smoked bacon, announced Tuesday it will build a 100,000-square-foot facility in St. Joseph.
The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce made the announcement one day after the City Council authorized property and real estate tax breaks in an effort to lure the company to the Stockyards area.
Daily’s expects to hire 212 employees during the first five years of operation, with an average annual salary of $32,154, plus benefits. The initial capital investment is $41.5 million.
