Last Friday and Saturday CattleWomen sisters across the nation were working on the same project, sampling a delicious beef recipe to encourage beef purchases in-stores. CattleWomen volunteers worked alongside retail demonstrators to sell beef from the meat case and interact with shoppers.

Our Beef Ambassador Danielle Mueller, Tehama County CattleWoman Linda Borror and I were in Yuba City at Sam's Club working with demonstrator Kristi Leaty. It was a great day, thanks to our demonstrator. She should be an honorary CattleWoman, she was so passionate about beef. She never called it tenderloin, but invited the people to taste the filet mignon she was preparing in a field of greens. People were standing, waiting for her to slice the beef while she prepared another three filets for the recipe. Our beef ambassador got real experience talking to consumers, and giving out the recipe.

There were beef recipe demonstrations with cattlewomen at Sam's Clubs in Auburn and Montgomery, AL; Fayetteville and Little Rock, AR; Phoenix, AZ; Sacramento and Yuba City; Farmington, NM; St. Cloud, MN; Gulfport, Tupelo, Meridian MS; Lincoln, NE; Lima and Columbus, OH; Edmond and Owasso, OK; College Station and El Paso, TX; Riverdale , UT and Cheyenne, WY at the same time and dates.
