Cargill Meat Solutions is spending $15.8 million to expand its operations in Marshall, Mo.
The company plans to add 50 jobs, for a total of 500 in Marshall, and it is introducing a new line of food products at the case-ready meat facility, the company announced today.
The Marshall facility packages meat for retail sale and ships it to supermarkets and food stores. In September, Cargill Meat Solutions added a production line for ready-to-cook beef, pork and chicken items. “The Show-Me State’s economy continues to move forward with new jobs, new investments and new opportunities for Missourians,” Gov. Jay Nixon said in a statement after he toured the Marshall site.
