The Buffalo Bisons are proud to announce that they have reached a five-year partnership with the Sahlen Packing Company to make the Sahlen’s Hot Dog the Official Hot Dog of Bisons Games at Coca-Cola Field.
Sahlen’s hot dogs will now be served throughout Coca-Cola Field, including all concession stands, all private party areas and in Pettibones Grille & Catering Center. There is a long-standing tradition of baseball games and hot dogs and this partnership allows the Bisons to serve their great fans with a product they have loved for generations.
“We continue our mission of bringing many of the great local foods into Coca-Cola Field for our fans to enjoy,” said Robert Free, Director of Food Service Operations for the Bisons. “Sahlen’s has been a Western New York staple for over 140 years and, like the Bisons, is a true summer tradition in Buffalo.”
Bisons’ fans can get their first taste of the new official hot dog of Coca-Cola Field on Saturday, March 3 as the team hosts their annual Family Day Open House from 12pm- 3pm. Everyone in attendance to tour the ballpark will receive a complimentary Sahlen’s Hot Dog as well as a free Coca-Cola soft drink.
The five-year partnership will also include Sahlen’s signage throughout Coca-Cola Field as well as other sponsorship elements.
