Whole Blossoms team participated in a reality show called Wedding Wars organized by music channel VH1 very recently in the month of March, 2011.
Whole Blossoms shipped the wholesale flowers to Hawaii from its Ecuadorian Calla Lily farm for a special episode of the reality show series. As reported, there were more than 200 bouquets made from Mini Calla Lilies used here by Whole Blossoms team. The special team of decorators was flown down to Hawaii by Whole Blossoms to make all the arrangements and decorate the venue meant to shoot for the episode.
Whole Blossoms reportedly spent over USD 10000 in flower arrangements, and also announced award prize for the next episode of the VH1 reality show, where couple can win coupons to buy wholesale flowers and florist services for their wedding function. As reported by the channel sources, there are 11 couples remaining in the second episode, where the couples will be assigned tasks like guys have to hold their fiancés’ hands over an ocean from a makeshift threshold and the couple that will be able to sustain longest will be declared security winners and receive $5000 flower prize package.
The producers of the show are reportedly amazed to see all the flower arrangements and decorations for this particular episode, and how the wholesale flowers were shipped fresh to Hawaii.
