TerraBioGen Receives Funding Award From BC Agri-Innovation Program

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA —  TerraBioGen Technologies Inc., a developer of proprietary high-value agriculturally bioactive products, announces a funding award through the Investment Agriculture Foundation of British Columbia Agri-Innovation Program for floriculture market development.

The award of $37,500 will be applied towards market demonstration and development of TerraBioGen's next generation plant biostimulant products in British Columbia's ornamental plant and floriculture industries.

"We are grateful to BC's Investment Agriculture Foundation for recognizing the value of TerraBioGen's plant biostimulant technology. This project is an expansion of trials conducted last year on poinsettia that showed better establishment, faster crop finish, and improved post-harvest stress tolerance. We will be extending this analysis of performance to other potted plant varieties, cut flowers, foliar crops and bedding plants. The goal is to offer technologies that allow growers to produce a better product at a lower cost," said TerraBioGen's CEO, Blair Heffelfinger.
