Toronto – Flower associations from Taiwan and Canada signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) Monday to strengthen commercial ties in the field and exchange market information and technical knowledge.
The deal signed by the Taiwan Floriculture Development Association (TFDA) and the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association has benefits for both sides, Huang Li-chuan, the TFDA's deputy secretary-general, told the Central News Agency.
The MOU will help Taiwan increase its flower exports to Canada and enable the Ontario association to promote the art of landscaping in Taiwan, Huang said in a telephone interview.
