Suntory Flowers Showcases Top Performing Plants At Philadelphia Flower Show

Tokyo, Japan – Suntory Flowers will be working alongside America in Bloom (AIB) to spotlight its beautiful blooms at the most prestigious, largest, and oldest flower show in the country, the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Held from March 1st to March 9th, America in Bloom will be exhibiting a stunning display garden focused around the flower show’s theme of “ARTiculture,” signifying the alignment of art and horticulture.

“We are thrilled once again to partner with America in Bloom to have our popular flowers on display for the third year at the world’s largest indoor exhibition,” says Taizo Chinju, managing director of Suntory Flowers. “As a major exhibit, people will experience a town’s entrance featuring our flowers paired with shrubs, bold foliage and significant artwork. It will be truly memorable.”

This year, display designers from Longwood Gardens, Jim Sutton and Greg Trahan developed the design of the garden as a gift to America in Bloom.

The America in Bloom display will feature Suntory’s popular Surfinia Deep Red and White petunias, new Temari Candy Stripe verbena, Temari Patio Red and White verbena, and Dasana Lime ipomoea.

“We knew that the plants we selected needed to make this year’s exhibit pop,” notes Chinju. “Visitors will be able to experience first-hand the beautiful impact of our flowers in an inspiring setting that will welcome and charm guests at the show.”

Suntory Flowers is looking forward to displaying its varieties of blooms along with flowers from Spring Meadow Nursery and Schubert Nursery, backdrops and woodworking from Walpole Woodworkers and Braun Horticulture’s unique frames.
