Silver Florall Award For Helleborus 'Magic Picotee'

Helleborus specialist Het Wilgenbroek brought its own crossing on the market:  the new Helleborus ‘Magic Picotee’ which proceeded to win a silver Florall award.  The fresh green leaf contrasts beautifully with the white flowers that sport pink-red veined stripes and spots.  The flowering period runs from December to March, where flowers of 5 to 7 cm in diameter on 30 to 40 cm stems catch the eye.  The jury was particularly impressed by the fact that there was a uninform bloom already in the first year – something exceptional and thus a fine winning asset for the market.  The double flower with beautiful red veins and longer blossoming period also scored well.
