Rocket Farms Donates Orchids To Deserving Mothers
May 10, 2012 | 1 min to read
Salinas, CA – Rocket Farms is donating flowers for the Alliance on Aging’s “I Remember Mama”. This compassionate campaign sends flowers to women living in assisted-care facilities and nursing homes throughout Monterey Country.
Mother’s Day can be especially lonely for some women living in nursing homes and assisted-care facilities and Rocket Farms is pleased that its beautiful orchids will provide a little brightness for Mothers who may not otherwise be acknowledged on this special day. Many seniors do not have family in the region but with the help of local generosity may receive a lovely, personally-delivered, orchid that will bloom and be of enjoyment long after Mother’s Day.
Rocket Farms specializes in novelty orchids, poinsettias, organic and conventional herbs and vegetable plants, and a variety of potted flowering ornamentals. Its products are available at local Farmers Markets, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Costco, and a number of other retail locations. Dedicated to the company’s Code of Sustainability, Rocket Farms continues its never-ending pursuit of new and better ways of conducting business in an equitable and sustainable way.
