Magic Stars was the theme of last week at Selecta’s headquarters in Stuttgart. Producers and retailers were invited to visit Selecta from November 14 to 18, 2011 and get an overview of the company’s extensive poinsettia assortment. An area of 150 sqm was used to show a floristic presentation of the poinsettia plants, divided into 5 sections.
The market leading Christmas Feelings® Family, currently consisting of 11 varieties, was appreciated by allocating it an own presentation zone. Varieties within the red colour range, as for example the variety Noel, were themed “Competence in Red” while white and bicolour varieties were classified as “Trendy Colours”. Varieties especially suited for the production of minis (e.g. Christmas Eve) got their focus in the category “Mini Classics”. Furthermore the marketing initiative “Stars for Europe” was presented at the event. You can find a selection of the most beautiful pictures in our picture gallery.
The entire Selecta poinsettia assortment was shown in an adjacent exhibition. Selecta employees supported the guests in getting to know the assortment and were available for any upcoming questions. Several speakers offered lectures in different languages for interested visitors.
