New Resources For Florists To Market And Sell Through Pinterest

ALEXANDRIA, VA – With the onset of social media technologies, significant changes are taking place in the way consumers are engaged and how they make purchases. Social media selling is one of the newest and best ways for businesses to stand out.
Pinterest has one of the latest marketing tools to help businesses sell products — a "Buyable Pin." This is a hugeopportunity for florists to showcase their own floral arrangements and services (i.e. for wedding planning), reach a wider audience, and boost sales!
Other industries are already embracing this new marketing method with great success, and florists can increase their marketing outreach by becoming better equipped to market and sell through Pinterest.
The American Floral Endowment (AFE) and the Floral Marketing Research Fund (FMRF) have put together all the resources needed to set up a Pinterest business account, connect it to a company's website, and get florists ready to sell on Pinterest.
Among the resources is a video tutorial on setting up your business account and three webinars with a Pinterest expert, Anna Bennett of White Glove Social Media, to make sure you are selling successfully.
Watch the fun introduction video demonstrating how florists can work with consumers through Pinterest. It features floral shop owner Brooke Raulerson of Artistic Florist in Fernandina Beach, Fla., who uses Pinterest to work with a bridezilla!
"I was honored to be part of this important project for AFE, and I look forward to sharing this information with my peers in the industry," said Raulerson, AIFD, FSMD.
