Both consumers and florists are quite positive about the Germini, reports the Dutch Product Board for Horticulture. The flowers are considered cheerful, colorful and nicely shaped, as well as versatile and durable.
Florists, in particular, praise the Germini for its vast color range and the endless opportunities the flower as a result offers when it comes to creating bouquets, also when compared to its more imposing cousin the Gerbera. Its impressive ‘shelf life’ and the fact that it suits any occasion are also considered a plus point.
Almost every florist stocks the flower because of all the positive characteristics attributed to it, the study indicates. The same cannot be said of the large-flowered Gerbera however, which is sold by significantly fewer flower shops, particularly in the Netherlands.
