International florist organisation FLORINT and Chrysal International have signed an agreement to cooperate on several projects, which aim to raise awareness among florists of optimising flower quality and of increasing consumer satisfaction among flower buyers.
The two parties will exchange information and work together on a number of projects and activities throughout Europe. Both parties are looking forward to this collaboration. Emile Dings (Export Manager Chrysal International): "It’s good to join our forces, so that we can make florists in Europe aware of the opportunity to lower their costs by reducing waste."
Collaboration
Chrysal International and FLORINT aim to help florists distinguish themselves through added value, good customer service and delivering flowers in excellent condition to consumers. Supplying top-quality flowers that consumers can enjoy for a long time can only be realised by implementing a chain-wide strategy of quality control.
FLORINT
FLORINT is the recognised representative body of the industry towards the European Commission and defends the interests of more than 100,000 florists at the European level. FLORINT’s mission is to contribute to the development and prosperity of our florist member associations – and, by extension, the entire floristry sector.
Chrysal International
For more than 80 years, Chrysal supplies premium flower care products which condition cut flowers for optimal quality. The last few years Chrysal has used its knowledge of flower care to develop a line of plant care products as well. As a result, Chrysal now has an even more complete line of products to help all parties in the horticulture chain to optimise flower and plant quality.
