Bloomin' With Van Belle Nursery

This is not your average nursery.  Located in the ideal climate, thanks to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean and Coast Mountains, warm summers, ample precipitation, and winters that are ideal for overwintering nursery crops, majority of Van Belle Nursery’splants can be found shipped throughout North America, from the Midwest to the East Coast.

Established in 1973 with only 10 acres of land, the Van Belle family had a vision to expand their cold-hardy ornamental plants. Today, the national award winning grower Van Belle Nursery, is home to over 400 varieties of plants on 100 acres, with four revolutionary brands (Bloomin’ Easy®, Proven Winners® ColorChoice® shrubs, Star® Roses & Plants, Patio Passion™) that are shipped across North America.

We had the opportunity to tour the four growing sites and sit down with the President, Dave Van Belle, as he shared his passion for his leading edge shrubs, the core values of his company and the blossoming future of the Nursery.
