Anthurium is the centre of attention as ‘house plant of the month’ in June, an initiative of Flower Council Holland (Bloemenbureau Holland).
Anthurium is a plant with a high ornamental value. It does not only offer a fresh green foliage, but also nice, shining flowers. This exotic plant with its gleaming leaves and coloured flowers livens up both a classic as well as a modern interior.
Promotion activities
‘House plant of the month’ is an initiative of the Flower Council Holland and comes about with the financial support of the European Union. Each year the Flower Council chooses, together with representatives from the horticultural sector, a plant that will be promoted intensively during one month. The promotion activities are among others special posters, mailings to trade and retail, attention on the website of the Flower Council Holland and nice images and pictures. This year they even made a promotion film for the anthurium pot plant.
