AFE Is Participating In Giving Tuesday

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is once again participating in the national movement known as #GivingTuesday.

Following the chaos of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday (Nov. 27) is a unique opportunity to harness the generous spirit of the holiday season and encourage support for charitable organizations.

AFE serves the floral industry in this capacity and contributions to AFE continue to provide programs and benefits for the entire floral industry.

“Every contribution makes a difference,” said AFE Executive Director Debi Chedester. “We are so grateful to all of our donors for their support over the years.”

Each donation bolsters AFE’s efforts to fund research for critical industry issues, provide scholarships, internships and grants for horticulture students across the nation, and conduct groundbreaking research that is available free of charge to industry members. AFE will reach out to the floral industry in the days leading up to #GivingTuesday.

A separate year-end matching gift campaign is also kicking-off November 1st, where contributions through December 31st will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Smithers-Oasis/Floralife. Double your impact and support AFE’s programs today!

Tax-deductible #GivingTuesday donations can be made Nov. 27, and year-end contributions through Dec. 31, at Endowment.org/donate.
