On Thursday, June 21, nearly 250 guests visited The Gardens at Ball for the third annual Darwin Perennials Day. The event was a great success, with blooming plants on display in the overwintered perennial trial gardens, as well as new varieties showcased by more than 26 suppliers.
Featured speakers and stations included Jeff LaCourse and Sonali Padhye discussing perennial culture and PGR tips; mixing perennials in containers from Joan Mazat; and consumer trends from Justin Hancock of Better Homes & Gardens.
From morning through afternoon, guests were treated to experts from Ball Ornamentals and Kieft Seed, and the showcase of suppliers they know and love. Watch the video below to see highlights from this year's Darwin Perennials Day.
