The 35th edition of the Plantarium trade fair, which was held in Hazerswoude/Boskoop from 23 to 26 August, was successful. Visitors greatly appreciated the new design of the trade fair, in which inspiration and experience dominated. The cooperating exhibitors in the Houses of Inspiration were also satisfied with the result.
On the professional days, the number of visitors totalled 9835, which was less than in previous years. On the traditional consumer day, many visitors found their way to the fair, bringing the total number of visitors to 15,765.
During their tour of the trade fair, Board members received compliments from exhibitors about how appealing and well looked-after the fair was, but also criticism about the number of participants and visitors. Shortly after the trade fair, the Board will evaluate the latest edition based on the evaluation forms submitted by the participants. The participants' say is extremely important. In anticipation of the results of the analysis, it can already be reported that the participants will be closely involved in the follow-up process.
