Whole Foods Kicks In A Whole Lot To Olympia Provisions

Portland charcuterie favorite Olympia Provisions has gotten a $100,000 boost from Whole Foods Market that will help beef up production capacity and quality.

The grocery chain selected Olympia to receive a $100,000 low-interest loan through its Local Producer Loan Program, which aims to help local growers, producers and food artisans.

Olympia will use the loan to buy and install a new blast chiller, which will help it "significantly increase production capacity and improve product quality," according to a release.
