Trickling Springs Ranch Operation Makes Organic Cheese

The Ozarks are still full of surprises and I recently found a new one that I’m so excited about.

Hidden deep in the hills near Koshkonong, an old church camp has been revamped into the Trickling Springs Ranch, an all organic cheese factory.

I met with Joe Miller, the vice president of marketing last week, who flies in once a month from the main creamery in Chambersburg, Pa. He has been with the company for eight years and was more than gracious and gave me the complete tour. He had me hooked as I entered the gate, where all the cows were free to roam the massive 1,800-acre property.
