TEVENSVILLE — The Love Point Deli on Main Street in Stevensville has been singled out for national recognition by Boar’s Head Brand, a nationwide firm specializing in deli meats and cheeses.
The company has named Love Point Deli as a Deli of Distinction — one of only a handful in the country to be awarded that distinction. Deli of Distinction awards are given to independent retailers that “promote the highest standards of quality and exceptional customer service,” the company said. It also said a Deli of Distinction is a good neighbor in the community.
“We are very excited about Love Point Deli being named the 17th Boar’s Head Brand Deli of Distinction,” since the program began in 2001, company spokesman Elizabeth Ward said in an email.
