In an effort to promote deli salad products, strengthen customer relationships, and foster goodwill with customers, the Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA) is pleased to announce the 6th National Deli Salad Month in July, 2019.
“Our international association is exerted to set aside a special month to help consumers purchase convenient, fresh, ready to eat deli salads during the month of July,” states RFA Membership Chair Wendie DiMatteo Holsinger. “The RFA includes food manufacturers from across the country and even internationally who are committed to providing a safe, tasty alternative to made from- scratch salads. We want to promote the industry and provide incentives for purchase. The food manufacturers plan to partner with their suppliers to promote Deli Salad Month and make it a special time of savings for consumers.•
We hope you will consider promoting National Deli Salad Month to your customers by using the logo in your company correspondence, promotional literature, and on your websites. You can also work with your customers to develop ways to encourage consumers to purchase convenient, fresh, delicious, ;,…..a ready-to-eat deli salads during the month of July. You might consider contests, promotions, developing marketing materials such as labels, static clings, signs, flyers, etc. for your retail customers to use to create interest among consumers.
The goal is to create more awareness of the refrigerated food products and provide promotions for consumers to purchase more deli salads.
