QFC Recall Cranberry Chicken Salad

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Yesterday, QFC said it had recalled its Fresh Food Market Cranberry Chicken Salad that is sold in QFC stores, located in Oregon and Washington. The product may be mislabeled and may contain pecans, wheat, and soy not listed on the label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pecans, wheat, or soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

For consumers who are not allergic to pecans, wheat, or soy, there is no safety issue with the product. There have been no illnesses related to recalled product reported to date.

QFC has removed this item from store shelves after our employees noticed the scale printing error. QFC initiated its customer recall notification system that alerts customers with QFC Advantage Cards who may have purchased recalled product through register receipt tape messages and phone calls.
