Millburn, NJ – Crafted with Old Croc’s Australian cheddar, Trugman-Nash’s new line of flavored cheddars swept the field in its category at this year’s United States Championship Cheese Contest. The distinctively bold flavored cheeses earned the coveted Best of Class, 2nd Award and 3rd Award in the Flavored Pasteurized Process Cheese category. These delicious new cheeses will be officially introduced at this year’s International Dairy, Deli and Bakery show in Anaheim, California beginning June 4th.
The award-winning cheddars are the result of nearly 18-months of intense product development by the team at Trugman-Nash. “The time spent developing our wonderful new line of flavored cheeses was, without a doubt, time very well spent,” said Ken Meyers, President of TrugmanNash. He added, “ To be recognized in such a big way by such a prestigious panel of judges at the United States Cheese Championships is a testament to all the hard work and dedication that went into making these delicious cheeses.”
Old Croc’s four new flavored cheddars combine the signature bold “bite” of their Australian sharp cheddar with a hearty blend of today’s favorite flavors, including Horseradish, Bacon & Jalapeño, Roasted Garlic & Herb, and Chipotle & Onion. In addition to their great taste, these flavorful cheeses are made with Non GMO ingredients with no added hormones.
Old Croc’s new flavored cheddars are distributed by Trugman-Nash, LLC and will be available in retail (6oz) chunks (7oz) pre-sliced shingle packs, 12oz and 1.5LB Variety Trays. For more information about Old Croc fine cheese products, contact them at: info@trugman-nash.com.
