SUGARCREEK – The Ohio Swiss Festival Contest was Sept. 24.
It was the third and final contest this year to determine the 2014 grand champion and reserve champion cheesemakers.
The winners of the final contest were:
• Swiss Classification: Pearl Valley Cheese, Fresno, first; Guggisberg Cheese, Millersburg, second; Broad Run Dairy, Dover, third. Other Swiss cheese was entered by E.S. Steiner Dairy LLC, Baltic.
