New Hampshire Governor Takes Stand On Market Basket Deli Stickers

Gov. Chris Sununu calls it “one of the silly but annoying things” in life.
Sununu was describing something that has apparently frustrated Market Basket shoppers across New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine for years – those annoying price stickers on the supermarket chain’s deli cheese and meat plastic packages that cover the zip-lock tops of the bags.
“I do my fair share of grocery shopping, especially at Market Basket,” the governor explained on Wednesday. “You think you’re the only one who deals with this every week, when the thing tears and you have to re-seal your cheese.”
