Natural Sins Wins sofi Awards Finalist Trophy

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Natural Sins announced its Crispy Coconut Chips was selected as a Finalist for a 2016 sofi Award presented by the Specialty Food Association for Outstanding Sweet Snack.

Iván and Andrés are childhood friends who first met in elementary school. Though they are Venezuela natives, they are now working in Costa Rica and Florida to make what once was a family recipe available on a much broader scale for everyone to enjoy.
Since 1972, the sofi Awards have helped the Specialty Food Association advance culinary excellence and creativity worldwide by recognizing the outstanding work of its members. A sofi is the top honor in the $120.5 billion specialty food industry. “sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation and represents the best of the best from members of the Specialty Food Association. The Crispy Coconut Chips of Natural Sins was one of 100 Finalists and 28 Winners selected by a national panel of specialty food experts from more than 3,200 entries across 28 Awards categories including Outstanding Chocolate, Cheese, and Sweet Snack. Every eligible entry is carefully assessed by passionate and knowledgeable food professionals including chefs, culinary experts, academics, food writers, and category buyers.
