Tom’s Tiny Kitchen truly is a family business, from its president to its recipe.
Tom Flournoy started the company two years ago after being laid off from his previous job as an executive in the automotive parts industry. After taking a little time off, he started thinking about his next move.
“I needed to do something,” Flournoy says.
The seed for his new company came from an unlikely source: his mother’s pimento cheese recipe.
Flournoy prepared it for friends and always got good comments. Then he set up a booth at a fundraiser for St. Agnes Academy and St. Dominic School.
