Forty (40 degrees) represents the general temperature of the lettuce, while one-forty (140 degrees) is the general temperature of the heated components of the item after microwaving.
Another unique feature to the new line is the dual-use cardboard sleeve wrapping the package exterior. Once the consumer slides it off of the package, instructions designate a pair of tabs that interlock to create a cradle to heat the taco mix container. Besides offering helpful green and fitness tips, the sleeve helps protect consumer fingertips from the microwavable heated soup.
Lifestyle Foods' new addition arrives in an eye-catching package that is also environmentally friendly. The sleeve is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and is recyclable, biodegradable and made from recycled materials. The plastic container is also recyclable through number 5 plastics programs.
