Turlock, California — More than 750 individuals attended the 2011 American Cheese Society (ACS) conference in Montréal – the first ever held outside of the United States. The 2011 Judging & Competition saw a record number of entries: 1,676 cheeses and cultured milk products from 258 different companies in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Among them, California based Karoun Dairies entered 7 divisions, coming away with 9 awards to add to a growing collection that recognizes one of California’s finest cheese artisans.
