Frankenmuth Celebrates Grand Opening Of New $6 Million Cheese Haus

FRANKENMUTH, MI —  The Frankenmuth Cheese Haus opened its doors to the community on Thursday to showcase new products, cheese offerings and its new location.

The grand opening kicked off at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the new Cheese Haus location, 561 S. Main St. The event began with business leaders cutting a cheese wheel as a symbolic gesture.

People gathered outside as a two-man band played tunes in the background, and the Cheese Haus food truck parked nearby took customers' orders. The giant Cheese Haus mouse sculpture sat near the business and customers took selfies with the mouse.
